Before sending the design to your machine

Every book and handmade case will have slightly different measurements.

Before cutting, you will need to:

1. Measure your completed front cover, spine and back cover
2. Upload the SVG into your preferred cutting software
3. Resize and position each element for your case
4. Mirror the artwork when using heat-transfer vinyl
5. Complete a small test cut before using your final material

Art & Parcel cannot guarantee the fit of artwork that has not been resized to suit your individual book.

What you will need

To use this design, you will need:

• A compatible cutting machine
• Heat-transfer vinyl or adhesive vinyl
• A weeding tool
• The equipment required to apply your chosen vinyl
• A finished book case or another suitable surface for application

A note from the Scriptorium

These files are created with vinyl cutting and weeding in mind, but finer details may still require patience depending on the size of your finished book and the material selected.

Reducing detailed artwork too far may make it difficult to cut or weed successfully. Always test your chosen size and machine settings before cutting your final material.
