This handmade full-series rebind transforms the complete Throne of Glass collection into a cohesive set of custom hardcovers, designed around your chosen colours, materials, favourite details and overall vision.

The set includes all eight volumes, with Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn arranged into a two-volume tandem edition for a smoother, no-flipping-needed reading experience.

You will also choose where The Assassin’s Blade belongs in your set, whether you prefer it at the beginning of the journey or placed before Heir of Fire.

What is included

This set includes eight custom rebound hardcover volumes:

The tandem volumes are created from Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn, arranged in a widely used tandem reading order and split across two bound volumes.

Instead of switching back and forth between separate paperbacks, you can read the tandem section as two flowing volumes designed to carry the parallel storylines together.

Begin your commission

When ordering, you will be asked to provide:

• Preferred colour palette
• Preferred cover material, where available
• Preferred vinyl finish
• Favourite characters, symbols, patterns or scenes
• Details you would like included or avoided
• Whether you would like a cohesive spine design across the set
• Preferred placement for The Assassin’s Blade
• Endpaper preferences, where available
• Whether you would like sprayed or stencilled edges
• Inspiration images or mood boards, where helpful

You do not need to arrive with a complete design in mind.

A few favourite moments, a mood board, a colour palette or simply the feeling you want the finished set to carry is enough to begin.

A series designed as one

This collection will be designed as a complete set, with each book carrying its own identity while still belonging to the wider shelf.

What each volume includes

Each custom rebind includes:

• Removal of the original paperback cover
• Spine preparation and reinforcement
• Construction of a new hardcover case
• Book cloth or faux leather-style covering, where available
• Illustrated endpapers
• Decorative headbands
• Custom front cover, spine and back cover artwork
• Foil or matte iron-on vinyl application
• Pressing and finishing
• Digital design proof before production

The tandem volumes also include interior preparation for the tandem reading format.

Because the tandem section requires the interiors to be reorganised, those finished pages may have slight differences in appearance from standard paperback editions.

Optional sprayed or stencilled edges

You may choose to add decorated page edges to your full-series rebind.

Sprayed edges are created by hand and may have slight variations between volumes. This is part of the handmade nature of the finished set.

The design process

Your commission includes:

1. Review of your submitted brief
2. Development of a cohesive design direction for the full series
3. Digital proofs for your review
4. Up to two rounds of minor revisions
5. Preparation of the final cover artwork
6. Rebinding and finishing of each volume

Minor revisions may include adjustments to wording, placement, scale, colours or selected design details.

Requests for a completely new design direction after the first proof has been created may require an additional design fee.

Production will not begin until the final design direction has been approved.

A note on handmade books

Each Art & Parcel rebind is made by hand in a small home bindery.

Tiny variations may be present, including slight differences in alignment, cloth tension, corners, vinyl placement, endpaper trimming, page finish or sprayed edges.

These small details are part of the handmade nature of the piece and mean no two volumes will ever be exactly alike.

Your books will not look factory-made. They will look made, handled, transformed and finished one at a time.

Timeframe

This full-series rebind is made to order by hand in Australia.

Please allow approximately 6 to 8 weeks for completion before shipping.

Turnaround time may vary depending on book availability, material availability, design complexity and the current commission queue.

If your set is intended for a gift or special date, please include this when ordering so Art & Parcel can confirm whether the timeframe is possible before work begins.
